Our world is changing at an ever-increasing
rate.
The notion of sovereign economic development is diminishing in the
emerging global landscape of competition. The freedoms afforded
by our free market economy have enabled us to lead the world in
economic development. Insuring that our community is poised to contribute
to the maintenance of our nation's performance is the responsibility
of every citizen.
We at Canaan Development Foundation realize that the same entrepreneurial
spirit that has made us great must be applied to the civic issues
that threaten our ability to compete in the future.
Meeting the requirements of the 21st century is the responsibility
of every citizen.
Equipping individuals for full participation in our society and
economy is our mission.
We do this by focusing on three essential pillars of economic participation:

Together, developing individuals in these three
areas makes up our commitment to the community.
